Early Years Education Funding

Some two* and all three and four year olds are entitled to free part-time early years education (EYE).

Every child will be eligible for EYE Funding the term after their 3rd birthday. 


Parents/Carers can claim up to 30 hours per week. 


You will be given a funding form to make your claim from us on behalf of Hampshire County Council.


Funding is stretched over 51weeks per year


Meal costs are not included in the funding

2 Year Funding

Full day option


Day rate contract on 9hrs using 7.5hrs funding.

So for 3 days using 22.5hrs funding a week.

7.5hrs funding 1.5hrs hourly rate = £10.20

Consumables and meal charge = £ 16.50 a day including breakfast, lunch, and tea.

So, you will pay £26.70 for 1 day using 7.5hrs funding.

 

If you do need 10hrs childcare you can obviously book for the extra hour if you do need this, please let me know or it could be half an hour, which the rate of £6.80 for the hour or divide by 2 for half an hour. A normal day of 9hrs childcare with no funding will cost £61.20 a day.

Morning/Afternoon session option

 

9am-1pm funding using 4hr. Consumable and meal charge= £12 including breakfast/lunch/tea. So, you will pay £12.00.


You cannot use funding after 1pm with this option. You will have to pay the hourly rate of £8.90 an hour, if we have space to stay until 2pm or 3pm for example.
