Fees, Terms and Conditions

Minimum attendance
We require all children to attend a minimum of two separate sessions (minimum of 4 hours); either morning or afternoon or whole days etc. We know that children benefit by attending more that once a week, as we feel children settle easily and become more comfortable in the nursery environment. There are requirements within the EYFS for key people to complete observations on the children to aid child development; this has proved to be very difficult for children who attend nursery on only one day.
Early Years 3 year Funding you can check your eligibility for 15/30 hours funding on the website link below. https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk/ All children are eligible for 15hrs (term time). 30hrs has to be applied for. 15hrs per week term time is 11hrs a week stretched. 30hrs (term time) is 22.5hrs a week stretched. Stretched is how we apply the funding all year round. You can use a mixture of option 1, 2 or 3. We only offer the stretched option, we do not offer a term time option as we are open all year.
Government Early years funding is intended to deliver high quality education and settings. We charge an enhanced provision consumables charge to cover all other costs including cost of our cook, lunch assistant, meals, snacks, nappies, suncream, nursery bags, orange wet bags, forest school sessions etc.
Calculation of fees will be calculated on a monthly basis and the invoice will be raised around 20th for the next month. Full fees are due monthly in advance by the 1st of the month, and are payable to Little 1 nursery by bacs, childcare vouchers.
Bank holidays are not chargeable.
EYE funding Option 1
Day rate contract on 9hrs using 9hrs funding.
Enhanced provision consumables charge = £25 a day
So you will pay £25 for 1 day using 9hrs funding.
A normal day of 9hrs childcare with no funding will cost £68.20 over 3s or £70 under 3s.
EYE funding Option 3
Day rate using 5 and three quarters funding when booking a full day.
Enhanced provision consumables charge= £18
3.25hrs day rate + consumables charge.
total day cost £43.27 over 3s. £44.42 under 3s.
EYE funding Option 2
9am-1:30pm funding using 4.5hrs or 1pm-5:30pm
Enhanced provision consumables charge = £16.50
So you will pay £16.50 using 4.5hrs funding
You can use this as part of a day rate or with additional hours.

Bank holidays
We are closed on all bank holidays and no fees are due.
We close every year the friday before August bank holiday and no fees are due.
Christmas Closure
We close between christmas and new year and no fees are due during this period. See parents pages for specific dates.
Charges of Absence
Full fees are due for your parent/child occasional days off, sickness, holidays, isolating, adverse weather or short term closures such as enforced closure due to DFE guidance.
Extra Hours/ Days
Children may attend outside their normal dates if booked in advance with nursery manager and full fee rates apply.
Late Collection Fee
A late fee is charged when a chid is collected after the arranged times, this will be a charge of £15 for every 10 minutes after the arranged finished time.
Deposit
Once we have agreed a start date, two weeks equivalent fees (of booked hours) are payable as a deposit to hold your place.
The deposit will be credited against your child’s last months fees, once you have given notice or the summer term before they start school.
Minimum Attendance
The minimum amount a child can attend is twice weekly for 4 hours.
Notice
Settling In
Children are unique and each child will be settled according to their age and stage of development. We would normally recommend a minimum of 3 settling session.
Any further settling wanted will be invoiced.
We reserve the right to charge interest on outstanding fee's at 1% above Barclays Bank PLC base rate. Individual action will be taken for overdue or non-payment of fees.
