Within our setting we pride ourselves on running a successful mixed age group setting. We mix age groups and siblings together giving them the opportunity to learn from each other through play. We strive to be flexible and accommodate family needs and wants to the best of our ability.
We are dedicated to giving children the best start in life; we do this by promoting self-confidence, resilience and independence not only in play but with life skills. We enable all children to develop their capabilities by promoting decision making sharing amongst other skills that we know help them prepare for their journey ahead.
We like to work closely with parents as we understand that parents are the child’s first educators and know their child best. We pride ourselves in having very strong relationships with families.
We ensure that we go outside in all weathers and provide different activities to promote this; with gardens that accommodate the needs and wants of all the children, which they can access whatever the weather, whenever they like. We have L3 Forest school trained staff who put elements of Forest school ethos into nursery practice.
