Fees as of September 2025
Day rate £73 hours 8am to 5.30pm
You can extend your day to 5.45pm at a cost of £5
Hourly rate £12
We accept Early years funding 15hrs and 30hrs. Which equates to 11hrs or 22.5hrs over our 50 weeks stretched offer.

Weekly childcare cost for 2 days - 8am to 5.30pm with no funding = £146, using 19hrs funding = £30
Weekly childcare cost for 3 days -8am to 5.30pm with no funding = £219, using 22.5hrs funding = £117
Weekly childcare cost for 4 days - 8am to 5.30pm with no funding = £292, using 22.5hrs funding = £190
Weekly childcare cost for 5 days -8am to 5.30pm with no funding = £365, using 22.5hrs funding = £263
Government Early years funding is intended to deliver high quality education and settings. We charge an additional services charge (see seperate policy) to cover all other costs which are included in the costing above.

Early Years 3 year Funding you can check your eligibility for 15/30 hours funding on the website link below. https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk/ All children are eligible for 15hrs (term time). 30hrs has to be applied for. 15hrs per week term time is 11hrs a week stretched. 30hrs (term time) is 22hrs a week stretched. Stretched is how we apply the funding all year round, we do not offer a term time option as we are open all year.
Bank holidays
We are closed on all bank holidays and no fees are due.
Closure day
We close every year the Friday before August bank holiday and no fees are due.
Christmas Closure
We close for two weeks around Christmas and New Year and no fees are due during this period. See parents pages for specific dates.
Charges of Absence
Full fees are due for the parent/child occasional days off, sickness, holidays, isolating, adverse weather or short term closures such as enforced closure due to DFE guidance.
Extra Hours/ Days
Children may attend outside their normal dates if booked in advance with nursery manager and full fee rates apply.
Late Payment
Fees of £15 per day will be charged for late payment of fees if not paid by 3rd of the month up to 10% of your fees. Childcare may be withdrawn if fees are outstanding.
Minimum attendance
We know that children benefit by attending more that once a week, as we feel children settle easily and become more comfortable in the nursery environment. There are requirements within the EYFS for key people to complete observations on the children to aid child development; this has proved to be very difficult for children who attend nursery on only one day. So we do not accept children for one day a week.
Calculation of fees will be calculated on a monthly basis and the invoice will be raised in advance around 20th of the month. Full fees are due monthly in advance by the 1st of the month, and are payable to Little 1 nursery by bacs, childcare vouchers.
Bank holidays are not chargeable.
Late Collection Fee
A late fee is charged when a chid is collected after the arranged times, this will be a charge of £20 for every 10 minutes after the arranged finished time.
Refundable Deposit
Once we have agreed a start date, two weeks equivalent fees (of booked hours) are payable as a deposit to hold your place.
The deposit will be credited against your child’s last months fees, once you have given notice or the summer term before they start school.
Notice
Settling In
Children are unique and each child will be settled according to their age and stage of development. We would normally recommend a minimum of 3 settling in session.
Any further settling wanted will be invoiced.
