Although originally from the UK, I've spent many years living overseas in Cleveland, Ohio, Royan in France and 11 years in Cape Town, South Africa which has broadened my outlook and made me the person I am today. I'm a chef, a wife, a proud mum of two and I'm "Nannie J" to 3 grandchildren. I love to travel, and I read too much - I'm great on a trivia quiz as I know a lot about nothing in particular! I'm a bit of a foodie who is perpetually on a diet (wink)! I have previously worked within two former Nursery settings, and I find the job of cook very rewarding.
